Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide ongoing support or managed services?

No. We focus on strategic consulting, infrastructure engineering, and knowledge transfer. Each engagement has a defined scope and clear endpoint. Once complete, you own the work and operate independently. If you need ongoing support, we can recommend trusted partners.

How long does a typical engagement last?

Typical engagements range from 2–12 weeks, depending on scope. Strategic planning projects (roadmaps, assessments, vendor evaluation) usually take 2–6 weeks. Implementation projects (cabling, network deployment, training program development) typically take 4–12 weeks. All projects have defined timelines and deliverables.

Can we hire you as our IT department or managed service provider?

No, that's not our model. We specialize in strategic consulting and fixed-scope implementation projects. If you need ongoing IT support, we can help you evaluate and select a managed service provider, and we can coordinate vendor relationships on your behalf.

What if we need help implementing your recommendations?

We can discuss implementation as a separate, scoped project. For example, if you need a vendor selected and then that vendor's system deployed, we can handle the vendor selection (Phase 1) and coordinate the deployment through a contractor (Phase 2). The key is that each phase is defined and completed before moving to the next.

How do you handle changes in scope during a project?

We define scope clearly upfront. If scope expands during the engagement, we discuss it, revise the timeline and deliverables, and adjust the fee if necessary. This prevents surprises and keeps projects on track.

Can you work with vendors, contractors, or my internal IT team?

Yes. We coordinate regularly with vendors, contractors, and in-house IT teams. Our role is to define requirements, oversee quality, and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and within scope.
